Canadian Natural's Safety Management System supports all of our operations. Consisting of 15 industry recognized elements, our Safety Management System exceeds industry standard for basic safety programs.
Our Safety Management System is based on the principles found in the Corporate Statement on Health and Safety -integral to the way in which Canadian Natural conducts its business.
Site-specific Emergency Response Plans are in place for all our operating plants and batteries. These plans complement and support our Corporate Emergency Response Plan.
We believe the continual improvements in our health and safety performance over the years can be attributed to enhanced safety awareness in all of our operations, continuous improvement of our safety management systems, and a high degree of co-operation with our contractors in meeting health and safety goals.
